The Country Living Mill is cast from an ultra-tough aircraft aluminum using I-beam construction, and is finished with a FDA-approved food grade coating.

The grinding plates are cast and machined from carbon steel, and will produce cracked wheat to powder fine cake flour, or anything in between.

The cast iron, industrial-balanced fly wheel is equipped with a v-groove so that the mill can be motorized. Enterprising owners often build their own motorization kits, or pre-built, ready to use motorization kits are available on this website.

The Country Living grain mill will successfully handle many different grains such as corn, spelt, and rice. This mill is best suited for dry grains with low oil content, and is not intended for oily nuts or seeds.

A bread pan will work, but this specially designed polymer flour bin slides right beneath the grinding plates of the mill and catches all the stray flour. It also comes with an airtight lid so that the freshly ground flour can be conveniently stored

Power Bar Extension Handle
This extension handle makes the mill 40% easier to turn; great for children or when grinding finer flours.
